Our Medical Imaging department performs X-ray examinations and Ultrasound examinations. Medical Imaging Department at Mibilizi District Hospital deals only with diagnostic imaging. Our radiographers use the digital x-ray machine(GE) and Ultrasound machine to produce those diagnostic images such as chest radiograph, spine and appendicular radiographs and sonograms of different parts of the body.

Services provided by our Medical Imaging department include Chest imaging, Skull & spine imaging and Appendicular imaging. It also offers an Ultrasound studies such as Abdominal, Gynecology & obstetric, Vascular& Musculoskeletal and small parts scanning (breast, thyroid, prostate & scrotum).
